Replace or overhaul and digitize press brake?
There comes a time for sheet metal working companies when they have to make a choice: replace the old press brake, or have it overhauled and equipped with new digital controls. Often the mechanical parts and the hydraulics are still in good condition, but the controls need to be replaced. There were two companies with this exact question: Ewac Medical from Broek op Langendijk, builder of hydrotherapy systems, and De Rooij welding and construction in Moerkapelle. Both companies chose to have the press brakes overhauled by Holtech from Zeist.
